Full Job Description
At Bhanzu, we have a dedicated team of Math instructors and mentors who work tirelessly to ensure top-quality live sessions for students. We are looking for enthusiastic educators with the right mindset and skills to join us in our mission to change the way students perceive math in the Bhanzu way!
Roles and Responsibilities
- Deliver live online sessions comprehensively to students in grades K-12 and prepare lessons in advance.
- Ensure the live classes are interactive, engaging, and create a fun learning environment.
- Be open to training and re-training according to Bhanzu’s teaching methodology and continuously improve teaching during live sessions.
- Lead course-related activities such as training other educators, conducting Parent-Teacher Meetings, and attending instructional workshops.
- Adhere to Bhanzu's teaching approach and company policies.
- Actively participate in creating new activities, quizzes, and assignments.
- Be consistently available during scheduled class hours to guide students in their learning journey.
Job Requirements and Qualifications
Educational Requirements:
- A specialization in Mathematics or expertise in math (B.Sc./M.Sc./B.A./M.A. in Mathematics/Statistics/Economics is strongly preferred).
Experience Required:
- Strong understanding of math content and pedagogy, with at least 1 year of teaching or tutoring experience.
- Passion for math, excellent logical thinking skills, patience, and enthusiasm for teaching.
- Basic computer literacy, knowledge of Excel, Google tools, and related software.
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written in English).
- Ability to make classes fun, engaging, and maintain an online presence.
- Willingness to work hard and be innovative.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude to work with a young, energetic team.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in Ed-Tech
- Online presence on platforms like YouTube, etc.
