Technical Operations/Maintenance
Technical Operations involves the maintenance and enhancement of our aircraft. This includes aircraft maintenance specialists, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities teams, supply chain teams, and more.

Job Overview and Responsibilities

The Senior Analyst will work to enable better decision-making across GX-FX. This role involves managing large volumes of data from the GX-FX group's various systems (e.g., FleetFocus, telemetry devices, Coupa, PlanPlus, Oracle ERP, etc.) and using this data to drive decision-making. The Senior Analyst will be responsible for managing a set of analysis projects with expectations to provide insights to senior departmental and organizational leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build predictive operational models and analyze results to distribute insights to United leadership.
• Design key metrics that indicate operational health and guide operational/investment decisions.
• Utilize analytical dashboards, automated tools, and GX-FX systems (FleetFocus, Oracle, PlanPlus, Coupa, etc.) to drive better independent decision-making.
• Automate existing manual reports and processes to improve operational throughput.
• Continuously interact with business groups across Tech Operations to understand organizational needs and design solutions.
• Perform ad-hoc data mining and analysis as required.

• This position is for United Airlines Business Services Pvt. Ltd - a wholly owned subsidiary of United Airlines Inc.
• The role is based on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and visa sponsorship will not be provided.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of relevant work experience in Engineering, Business Analysis, Finance, Supply Chain, or related fields.
• At least 3+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data engineering.
• Strong understanding of data structures, relationships, and professional transformations.
• Experience with all components of the data ecosystem — procurement, engineering, storage, management, analysis, visualization, and deployment.
• Knowledge and application of best practices in data visualization.
• Must be legally authorized to work in India without sponsorship.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Successful completion of the interview process required to meet job qualifications.
• Strong, reliable attendance is a core requirement for the role.

Preferred:

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Airline experience or knowledge of aviation operations/ fleet management.
