Job Summary
As a Test and Verification Architect, you will be responsible for ensuring quality and safety in healthcare systems. This role involves test strategy development, requirement validation, and risk assessment across the product lifecycle. You will collaborate with global teams and provide technical leadership in test and verification methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
1. Test & Verification Management
- Lead and manage test and verification activities for R&D projects.
- Define and review testable requirements and test strategies for product validation.
- Develop and implement Design for Testability (DFT) and Design for Manufacturing Test (DfMT) guidelines.
- Ensure adherence to testing best practices across systems, subsystems, PCBA, and components.
2. Test Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute risk-based test strategies and test protocols.
- Oversee functional testing for systems, modules, and PCBAs.
- Manage test automation implementation using Python, LabVIEW, and other tools.
- Liaise with test centers and labs to execute verification plans.
3. Collaboration & Leadership
- Support project leaders, system architects, and lead engineers in developing integration and testing strategies.
- Conduct training and coaching to spread best practices globally.
- Lead small teams of test and verification engineers, ensuring quality and efficiency.
- Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives in test and verification methodologies.
4. Compliance & Documentation
- Review Design Verification Plan (DVP), FMEAs, Risk Assessments, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Maintain and enhance test management documentation.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards for quality and safety.
Required Skills & Qualifications
???? Education & Experience:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, E&TC, or Electrical Engineering.
- 15+ years of experience, with at least 8 years in Test & Verification as a Lead or Architect.
- Strong background in regulated environments, preferably medical device companies.
???? Technical Skills:
- Expertise in test verification and management methodologies.
- Experience in risk-based testing and test strategy development.
- Proficiency in functional testing technologies for systems, modules, and PCBAs.
- Hands-on experience with DFT, test coverage analysis, and test automation.
- Programming experience in Python, LabVIEW, and other test automation platforms.
- Knowledge of PCBA manufacturing processes and in-process control techniques.
- Familiarity with commercially available PCBA test methods and industrial automation protocols.

- Strong analytical and architectural thinking with a problem-solving mindset.
- Excellent documentation, reporting, and communication skills.
- Ability to mentor junior engineers and lead small teams.
