Content Writer – Interior Design
FOID, a leading interior design firm, is seeking a skilled and creative Content Writer to join our growing team. If you have 3-5 years of experience in content writing and a passion for interior design, this is a fantastic opportunity to craft engaging content that showcases our expertise and connects with a design-savvy audience.
Roles & Responsibilities
Content Creation
- Write engaging and informative content for the company website, blog, and social media platforms.
- Develop content on interior design trends, project case studies, client testimonials, and design tips.
- Create product descriptions for furniture, décor, and design elements, highlighting unique features and aesthetics.
- Develop email newsletters, promotional content, and press releases to engage clients and prospects.
- Produce content for brochures, catalogs, and other marketing materials in alignment with brand guidelines.
SEO & Digital Marketing
- Optimize content for search engines (SEO) by integrating relevant keywords related to interior design, architecture, and home décor.
- Collaborate with the digital marketing team to align content strategy with SEO goals and drive organic traffic.
- Monitor content performance using Google Analytics and other SEO tools to refine strategies.
Content Strategy & Planning
- Research and identify new interior design topics, trends, and client interests to keep content fresh.
- Work closely with the creative and marketing teams to develop and execute content calendars.
- Assist in creating content for Google Ads, social media ads, and promotional campaigns.
Brand Voice & Storytelling
- Maintain a consistent, professional, and on-brand tone across all content.
- Showcase the firm’s design process, project approach, and expertise through compelling case studies and blog posts.
- Write content that is engaging, informative, and accessible to a broad audience.
Project & Product Descriptions
- Write detailed project descriptions for completed interior design projects, highlighting style, functionality, and challenges.
- Craft persuasive product descriptions focusing on quality, craftsmanship, and design value.
Proofreading & Editing
- Edit and proofread content to ensure high standards of grammar, style, and accuracy.
- Review project and product copy for brand consistency.
Social Media & Client Engagement
- Create content for social media platforms (Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, LinkedIn) with a focus on design inspiration and trends.
- Engage with followers, respond to comments/messages, and build a community around the brand.
Research & Trend Analysis
- Stay updated on interior design trends, technologies, and market developments.
- Research competitor content and market trends to enhance content strategy.
Collaboration & Feedback
- Work closely with designers, project managers, and stakeholders to gather insights.
- Incorporate feedback from the team and clients to improve content quality.
Requirements
Experience & Skills
- 3-5 years of experience in content writing, preferably in interior design, architecture, or home décor.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices and SEO-optimized content creation.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms (WordPress) and tools like Google Analytics & SEO tools.
- Passion for interior design with an understanding of design terminology, trends, and aesthetics.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
Education
- A degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
Portfolio
- A portfolio showcasing writing samples related to interior design, architecture, or similar industries is required.
