What This Role Is About
As an Engineer III, you will be responsible for network security and enterprise infrastructure design, focusing on WAN, SD-WAN, and firewall technologies. You’ll play a key role in maintaining Zensar’s high standards for technical excellence and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
-
Design and manage enterprise network infrastructure, especially WAN and SD-WAN
-
Support network and firewall operations including security policy configuration
-
Conduct research and propose improvements to networking techniques and tools
-
Act as a project manager when needed, ensuring timely execution and delivery
-
Prepare regular progress updates and reports for management
-
Ensure compliance with all applicable policies, safety standards, and regulations
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer satisfaction goals
-
Take on related tasks as assigned by leadership
Required Skills & Experience
-
A minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible experience in a relevant field
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent technical training and experience
Technical Skills:
-
Deep knowledge of WAN and SD-WAN Infrastructure (including Velocloud)
-
Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Firewall and NSX-T
-
Proficiency in:
-
Bandwidth shaping & traffic control
-
Security firewall policy management
-
Encryption/Decryption, FRP
-
-
Strong understanding of network security best practices
-
Familiarity with industry-standard computer applications and networking tools
Soft Skills:

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

Effective oral and written communication skills

Strong interpersonal skills and team collaboration

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to manage workload and consistently meet deadlines
