Our Pre-Sales Engineering team supports revenue growth by providing technical expertise to customers during evaluations. We help prospects realize the value of the JumpCloud platform through consultative support, demos, and implementation best practices.
⏰ This role supports EMEA time zones and requires availability during EMEA working hours.
Serve as a technical trusted advisor during customer evaluations
Deliver tailored product demonstrations to align with customer challenges
Assist with trial setup, configuration, and technical Q&A
Assess readiness of prospects to move into formal sales cycles
Guide customers on implementation best practices
Partner with Sales and Channel teams to support co-selling and technical enablement
Identify recurring technical themes for product improvements and automation
Create structured POC/evaluation frameworks for prospects
Must-Have Qualifications:
3–5 years in technical sales or equivalent pre-sales engineering role
Strong technical acumen to understand IT infrastructure challenges
Confident presenting and demonstrating complex technical products
Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
Experience supporting EMEA hours and customer base
Preferred Qualifications:
Understanding of IT, Cloud, and SaaS technologies
Familiarity with networking architecture, protocols like SAML, OIDC/OAuth, LDAP, RADIUS
Experience with MDM, RMM, endpoint solutions
Exposure to MFA technologies (TOTP, WebAuthn)
Knowledge of identity and directory solutions
Proficient in scripting languages (PowerShell preferred)
Experience with direct and channel/partner sales
Knowledge of MEDDIC Sales Methodology
Internal communication at JumpCloud is conducted in English
Fluency in spoken and written English is required
