What You'll Do:
We are looking for a skilled Java Developer passionate about new technologies and eager to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will join the team responsible for our global air platform at an exciting time as we aim to solidify Egencia's position as a key player in the business travel sector.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and developing software application components and digital tests.
- Leading technical execution at the application/product level for small to large-scale projects, spanning months or even years.
- Working daily with Agile, TDD, and BDD methodologies.
- Using cutting-edge technologies such as Hexagonal Engineering, Domain-Driven Design, Event-Driven Architecture, and Software Craftsmanship.
What We're Looking For:
- Qualifications & Experience:
- A Bachelor's degree in technology with 5-6 years of experience in Java development.
- Expertise in Java 21, Spring (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Core, etc.), AWS, Microservices, React, REST, MongoDB, Hadoop, Cucumber, Jenkins, Git, Datadog, etc.
- Experience driving technical execution of projects at different scales, from small to large-scale projects.
- Proven experience in full-stack software development, including Spring Boot and RESTful services.
- Proficiency in agile practices, such as Agile, Scrum, and CI/CD pipeline management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with keen attention to detail.
- Passion for working in a dynamic and multi-cultural environment, embracing the DevOps approach.
- Experience with tools like Kibana, Datadog, GitHub, Hubot, and others for monitoring and improving development workflows.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, using tools like Jenkins, Cucumber, Selenium, JUnit, Wiremock, Mockito, and Git.
- Passionate about technology innovation and always eager to improve productivity using tools like ChatOps.
