Global Medical Affairs, GBS (GMA GBS) is an extension of Global Medical Affairs HQ in Denmark and operates from GBS Bangalore, India. This team consists of experienced global medical advisors collaborating across functions to drive medical strategy, evidence generation, and key opinion leader (KOL) engagement.
Our core responsibilities include:
✔ Scientific Communication – Sharing knowledge with internal teams and the external scientific community
✔ Evidence Generation – Supporting clinical trials across different phases and therapy areas
✔ Publication Planning – Developing strategic publications
✔ KOL Engagement – Organizing advisory boards and speaker support
✔ Medical Education – Conducting international symposiums and webinars
✔ Internal Medical Guidance – Aligning medical strategy with business goals
As a Global Medical Advisor, you will be responsible for key activities within the Diabetes therapy area (GLP-1RA and Insulins), ensuring accurate scientific communication and supporting global medical strategies.
???? Develop and execute global medical affairs strategies aligned with business objectives
???? Support promotional material and API updates before product authorization
???? Engage with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal product understanding
???? Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Clinical Development, Regulatory, Safety, Marketing, and Corporate Communications)
???? Monitor clinical research needs, interpreting protocols and data to enhance product value
???? Ensure compliance with pharma regulations and uphold ethical standards in all medical affairs activities
