Job Overview:
At Digibeezsy Media, we view graphic design as visual storytelling that captivates, informs, and inspires. We are seeking a talented Graphic Designer & Video Editor to create compelling designs and engaging video content that effectively communicates messages, enhances brand identity, and captures the audience’s attention.
The ideal candidate should be creative, well-versed with the latest design trends and software, a team player, and a great communicator.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaboration & Conceptualization: Work with other teams or clients (domestic and international) to design a variety of materials such as pages, presentations, signage, brochures, and promotional content.
- Creative Design: Develop and create creative design concepts, graphics, and visual assets for different projects, including logos, branding materials, social media graphics, and website components.
- Design Software: Utilize industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or other relevant tools to create and edit designs.
- Trend Research: Conduct research to stay updated on design trends, industry best practices, and competitor analysis.
- Video Editing: Edit video footage to create captivating content for YouTube and social media channels. Develop a storytelling approach through effective sequencing and editing techniques.
- Audio Editing: Integrate sound elements such as dialogue, music, and sound effects to ensure high-quality audio for video projects.
- Content Creation: Produce original content by deciding the best use of color, text, fonts, images, and layouts for videos and designs.
- Collaboration: Work with marketing specialists and the creative team to deliver final designs and videos.
- Photography & Filming: Occasionally handle the camera and capture footage for video content.
- Quality Control: Ensure final designs and layouts are visually appealing and consistent with the brand.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Graphic Design, Multimedia, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in graphic design and video editing (both academic and professional experience will be considered).
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, technical skills, and diverse styles in both graphic design and video editing.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in design tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Video editing skills using software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or other relevant tools.
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and video editing techniques.
- Creative thinking with the ability to turn ideas into visually engaging designs and videos.
- Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of motion graphics, visual effects, and sound editing is a plus.
- Additional Skills:
- Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (preferred).
- Familiarity with WordPress and content management systems is a bonus.
- Photography experience and proficiency with photo editing software will add more value.
