About the Role
As a Senior UX Designer at Betterworks, you will play a critical role in crafting user-centric and accessible design solutions that drive customer and business impact. You will work with a cross-functional global team, including Product Managers, Engineers, and QA, and report to the UX Manager based in California (PST time zone).
Your work will shape the user experience across web, mobile applications, and platform integrations, delivering intuitive and visually compelling designs that elevate the user journey.
Key Responsibilities

Human-Centered Design:
-
Drive user research and data-informed design decisions.
-
Ensure designs are accessible and comply with WCAG guidelines.

End-to-End Design:
-
Plan, design, and prototype web, mobile, and platform products.

Own the full-stack of user experience: interaction design, visual design, research, and prototyping.

Collaboration & Communication:
-
Work closely with Product Managers to define problems and deliver solutions rooted in customer empathy and business goals.

Collaborate with UI Engineers to creatively solve technical challenges.

Design Systems & Patterns:
-
Contribute to and enhance our design system to maintain consistency.

Incorporate modern UI design patterns and AI integrations.

Global Collaboration:

Engage with team members across India, Europe, and the United States.

Be available for overlap with Pacific Time (7 am - 10 am PT) and occasionally until 12 pm PT.

Skills & Qualifications
✅ Experience:
-
6+ years of experience as a Senior UX Designer.
-
Prior experience designing for enterprise (B2B) SaaS software.
-
Experience designing for both administrators and end users.
✅ Technical Skills:
-
Proficiency with Figma for design and prototyping.
-
Expertise in user research (interviews, usability studies, and surveys).
-
Strong understanding of information architecture and accessible design (WCAG guidelines).
-
Ability to use qualitative and quantitative data to inform design decisions.
✅ Soft Skills:
-
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
-
Collaborative mindset with Product Managers and Engineers.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
✅ Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in HR or Performance Management software.
