Location: Bathinda, Punjab
Pay: Up to ₹50,000 per month
Work Type: Full-time, Permanent
Shift: Morning shift, Night shift, Rotational shift

Job Responsibilities:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Manager (AR) to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing Proof of Delivery (POD) records, processing invoices, and ensuring accurate accounts receivable transactions. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proof of Delivery (POD) Management:

    • Collect, verify, and organize POD documents.
    • Ensure that all PODs are accurately recorded and stored.
    • Communicate with clients and internal teams to resolve missing or incomplete PODs.
  • Invoicing and Accounts Receivable (AR):

    • Generate and process invoices in a timely manner.
    • Ensure invoices are accurate and match corresponding PODs.
    • Follow up on outstanding invoices and assist with collections.
    • Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate financial records related to AR and POD.
  • General Accounting Support:

    • Assist in resolving invoice discrepancies.
    • Prepare and maintain financial reports related to AR and POD.
    • Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
    • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Education and Experience:

    • Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable/receivable or invoicing.
  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
  • Soft Skills:

    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
