Location: Begur, Bengaluru, Karnataka
Pay: ₹10,321.25 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Educational Qualifications

  • Minimum: High School Diploma
  • Preferred: Associate's degree in Business, Accounting, or Supply Chain Management
  • Optional: Certification or coursework in basic accounting or bookkeeping

Key Skills and Knowledge

  • Basic Knowledge of Accounting Principles: Experience in accounts payable/receivable, petty cash management, and financial record-keeping is essential.
  • Vendor and Inventory Management: Experience with vendor relationships, supply chain fundamentals, and inventory management in a store or warehouse environment.
  • Microsoft Office Proficiency: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word for managing records and tracking expenses.
  • Experience with ERP or Inventory Management Software (Preferred): Exposure to ERP systems or store management software used for order tracking, invoice handling, or vendor management is an advantage.
  • Cash Handling Skills: Experience or knowledge of managing petty cash expenses and maintaining financial records for small cash transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Invoice Collection and Processing: Collect, verify, and organize vendor invoices. Ensure all invoices are accurately recorded and approved for payment processing.
  • Vendor Management: Maintain relationships with vendors, ensuring timely payments and resolving discrepancies in invoices or product delivery. Assist with vendor inquiries and payment statements.
  • Petty Cash Management: Track and record petty cash transactions. Ensure funds are appropriately utilized and accounted for, and regularly reconcile petty cash records.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor and record outflows for the store, including vendor payments and operational costs. Ensure outflows stay within budget and generate regular reports for management.
  • Inventory Control Support: Assist with managing inventory levels, placing orders when needed, and ensuring stock accuracy through regular reconciliation with physical stock.

Soft Skills

  • Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy when managing invoices, petty cash, and vendor information.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to maintain organized records for invoices, receipts, petty cash logs, and vendor reports.
  • Communication Skills: Professional communication with vendors, suppliers, and colleagues to address payment or invoice issues effectively.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in invoices, payments, or petty cash quickly and accurately.

Experience Level

  • Required: 1-3 years in a similar role
  • Preferred: Experience in junior accounting, procurement, or inventory management positions, though entry-level candidates with basic skills are also welcome.
