Position Summary

The Accounting Manager will oversee and improve financial operations, focusing on accounts receivable, invoicing, accounts payable, and overall accounting processes. You will manage project accounting, financial reporting, collaborate with external auditors, and ensure compliance with corporate policies and controls.


Responsibilities

  • Accounts Management:

    • Oversee accounts receivable, invoicing, and accounts payable to meet corporate KPIs.
    • Maintain Indian legal compliance calendars for timely submissions and reporting.
  • Financial Operations:

    • Manage project accounting, revenue recognition, invoicing, and financial performance.
    • Handle monthly revenue and expense forecasting.
  • Team Leadership:

    • Manage and mentor the accounting team, overseeing all aspects of accounting and payroll.
    • Collaborate with HR for benefits renewals for India-based teams.
  • Audit & Compliance:

    • Work with external auditors for financial audits and tax payments.
    • Ensure compliance with the latest regulatory requirements for Indian legal entities.
  • Strategic Involvement:

    • Collaborate with senior management on budgeting and financial insights.
    • Update and analyze financial statements based on bi-monthly reporting.
    • Provide insights on revenue recognition, cost analysis, and financial reporting.
  • Policy and System Management:

    • Administer accounting management systems and ensure optimal financial performance.
    • Define policies related to billing, subsidiary assignments, and other accounting functions.

Qualifications

Mandatory:

  • Indian citizenship with a valid passport; ability to travel internationally.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA, Chartered Accountant, or ACCA is a plus).
  • Knowledge of US GAAP.
  • 10+ years of accounting experience, including professional services environments.
  • Expertise in international financial systems and regulatory compliance for Indian entities.
  • Proficiency in managing multiple business verticals in global technology services.
  • Strong business acumen with a high degree of integrity and attention to detail.

Skills:

  • Leadership, communication (written and verbal), and organizational skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in contract management, legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to lead discussions, proposals, and presentations.
  • Strong conflict resolution and team management skills.
