Role Overview
As a AI SEO Specialist, you’ll develop and implement forward-thinking SEO strategies that merge technical expertise with AI-driven tools and insights. Your focus will be on building sustainable organic visibility through smart automation, intelligent content structuring, and precision-level analytics.
This is not a traditional SEO role. It demands fluency in both classic SEO principles and the latest in machine learning, NLP, and predictive analytics. You will implement all the traditional and AI driven SEO strategies for our clients. If you can analyze patterns, anticipate shifts, and act on data—while collaborating across teams—this is your opportunity to help shape the next generation of SEO.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy and Execution
- Design and execute SEO strategies tailored for modern AI-influenced search behaviors
- Optimize websites for crawlability, site speed, mobile performance, and structured data
- Develop keyword targeting strategies that align with voice search, semantic search, and user intent
AI-Driven Content Optimization
- Collaborate with writers to improve topical relevance, keyword density, and semantic structure using AI-assisted recommendations
- Guide content planning using predictive keyword and topic analysis
- Ensure all metadata, headings, and on-page elements are optimized for both humans and algorithms
Technical SEO & Automation
- Conduct regular technical audits to identify issues affecting indexing, site health, or performance
- Implement AI tools to automate repetitive SEO tasks such as reporting, error tracking, and internal linking
- Collaborate with developers to integrate schema markup, AMP, and AI-generated metadata where appropriate
Analytics and Reporting
- Use AI-powered analytics platforms to track traffic trends, CTRs, bounce rates, and ranking changes
- Create dashboards and SEO reports for leadership that translate complex insights into clear opportunities
- Leverage real-time data to make fast, informed decisions that impact visibility and conversion
Competitive Research and Innovation
- Monitor competitors using tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Surfer SEO
- Identify new content gaps, backlink strategies, and SERP trends
- Stay ahead of algorithm updates and continuously refine tactics in response
AI/NLP-Specific Functions
- Use Natural Language Processing (NLP) models to optimize language structure and search intent
- Apply predictive models to adjust strategy based on algorithm behavior and traffic forecasting
- Explore AI integrations such as chatbot SEO optimization, AI-based link building suggestions, and image/video search enhancements
Requirements
- 8–14 years of hands-on SEO experience, with at least 1–2 years working with AI tools
- Strong command of both technical and content SEO, including experience optimizing for AI-generated SERPs
- Familiarity with tools such as ChatGPT, Surfer SEO, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Ahrefs
- Working knowledge of machine learning applications in SEO, including clustering, NLG, and predictive ranking models
- Ability to communicate complex findings clearly and concisely across teams
- Experience managing multiple projects and working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
Bonus Points For
- Experience optimizing for voice search and featured snippets.
- Familiarity with video and image SEO using AI-driven tagging or alt text tools.
- Understanding of ethical AI practices in digital marketing and search.
