Job Outline

Houston Talented Consultancy is looking for dedicated and client-focused individuals for the position of Remote Help Desk Support. This is a fully remote position designed to provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to clients. The ideal candidate is skilled in resolving technical issues, has excellent communication skills, and thrives in a remote work environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line technical support via phone, email, and chat to resolve client issues.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related problems.
  • Escalate complex issues to higher support levels when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions in the ticketing system.
  • Guide clients through step-by-step solutions for common issues.
  • Update and create knowledge base articles to improve efficiency.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance customer satisfaction.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in IT or related fields is preferred.
  • Proven experience in a customer service or IT help desk role.
  • Familiarity with common operating systems (Windows, macOS) and software applications.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in English with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
  • Knowledge of ticketing systems and remote desktop tools is a plus.

Experience

  • At least 1 year of experience in a technical support or help desk role.
  • Freshers with relevant certifications (CompTIA, ITIL, etc.) are welcome to apply.
