The Student Advisor will assist students who have started but not completed their loan applications, as well as those identified through specific campaigns. This role involves reaching out to students to help them resubmit their applications, addressing any issues, and coordinating with B2B partners if the student is already connected to one. The advisor will need to meet monthly resubmission targets while offering supportive assistance to students and collaborating with partners when necessary.
Student Outreach & Support:
Contact students with incomplete or rejected loan applications within assigned timelines to assist them in resubmission.
Diagnose and address challenges with the application process, providing step-by-step guidance to students.
Partner Coordination & Collaboration:
Collaborate with B2B partners to ensure effective communication and support when students are aligned with a partner.
Liaise with partners to offer students the best possible guidance based on their existing relationships.
Target Achievement & Performance:
Achieve monthly resubmission targets by engaging with students, identifying barriers, and motivating them to complete the application process.
Track daily performance and contribute to team goals, adapting outreach strategies to meet objectives.
Documentation & Reporting:
Accurately document all student interactions, outcomes, and partner coordination efforts in CRM tools.
Prepare daily and weekly reports on engagement, application status, and resubmission metrics.
Data Security & Compliance:
Maintain confidentiality of student information and ensure compliance with data policies.
Resubmission Success Rate: Percentage of successful application resubmissions among students contacted.
Partner Engagement Effectiveness: Rate of successful outcomes from students aligned with B2B partners.
First-Contact Resolution Rate: Percentage of issues resolved during the first outreach attempt.
Monthly Target Completion: Performance against resubmission targets on a monthly basis.
Laptop with adequate processing power for CRM access and data management.
Android Smartphone with a call recording feature for documenting calls and interactions for quality and compliance.
Experience: 1+ years in customer service, account management, or application support, preferably in financial services or education.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills with an empathetic approach.
Collaboration Skills: Ability to work with internal teams and external partners to coordinate support for students.
Target-Oriented Approach: Proven ability to meet and exceed performance targets.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), and Android call-recording software.
Ability to work independently while maintaining motivation and focus on performance.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Flexibility and adaptability to evolving processes and requirements.
