Job Description:
As a Travel Consultant, you will be part of a talented remote team providing exceptional support to our corporate business clients. This role involves booking domestic and international business travel, conducting research, and proactively anticipating traveler needs to sell additional services. You will utilize Global Distribution Systems (GDS) like Saber, Apollo, Galileo, and Amadeus to coordinate travel arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:

Travel Management:
- Promptly coordinate and book business travel for corporate clients (both individuals and groups), including air, road, rail, and accommodations.
- Conduct research on travel options and anticipate traveler needs to promote additional services.

Client Interaction:
- Ensure compliance with clients' agreed travel policies, service provider arrangements, and regulatory requirements.
- Utilize positive phone techniques to address client requests and follow up on special demands.

Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with your team to provide coaching, guidance, and constructive feedback to enhance service levels.

Travel Systems Usage:
- Work with GDS systems, including Galileo and Saber. Galileo experience is required.
- Keep up-to-date with changes in the travel industry, ensuring accuracy in bookings and traveler satisfaction.
What We’re Looking For:

Skills & Experience:
- Passion for excellent customer service, proactively anticipating client needs.
- Expertise in Galileo and Saber GDS systems.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in US and Asia bookings and corporate travel bookings.
- Visit center experience is preferred.

Attributes:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to act with integrity, maintaining the privacy of traveler information.
- Solid understanding of the travel industry, including business and leisure travel, and airline reservations.
- Ability to resolve client issues quickly, independently, or with the provider.
- Collaborative mindset and receptiveness to feedback.

Availability:
- Flexible and able to work evening shifts (12:00 PM to 8:00 PM) and weekends, as the Traveler Care team operates 24/7.
