Job Overview:

As a Travel Consultant, you will provide exceptional travel services to corporate clients. You will work as part of a high-performing team that delivers first-call solutions and excellent customer service. The role requires you to manage client relationships and provide creative and timely travel solutions using available tools and technology, while also improving provider revenue.

You will report to a Group Mentor and work as part of a talented team of Travel Consultants based at the office.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Management & Service:

    • Act as a Travel Advisor for one or multiple corporate business accounts, addressing client needs with flexibility.
    • Coordinate domestic and international travel requirements (air, rail, car, and hotel accommodations) using Global Distribution Systems (GDS).
    • Offer consultative guidance and proactively sell additional services like hotel bookings and car rentals, ensuring adherence to client travel policies.
    • Ensure all legal and compliance requirements are met, including training and approvals.
    • Review personal and shared team goals to ensure adherence to business objectives and proactively enhance performance.
  • Team Collaboration & Communication:

    • Work in a multi-channel environment to ensure client satisfaction (CSAT) and meet key proficiency metrics (e.g., call adherence, service metrics).
    • Use positive phone utility techniques and follow up on unique client requests to maintain excellent customer relations.
    • Meet client travel needs and adhere to your daily call plan, reporting any discrepancies to your Group Mentor.
    • Handle critical situations while maintaining professional relationships and managing multiple tasks effectively.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Skills & Experience:

    • Strong knowledge of fare rules and ticketing for air, rail, and hotel travel.
    • Proficiency in Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Saber, Apollo, Galileo, or Amadeus.
    • Experience in air, rail, hotel, and car booking systems, and handling transactions.
    • Previous experience in business travel, leisure, or airline reservations is required.
    • A passion for providing excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact confidently at all levels of the organization.
    • Strong multitasking abilities with a proactive approach to process improvement.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment while maintaining high professional standards.
  • Working Conditions:

    • The job requires night shifts, with working hours from 5 PM - 12 AM and weekend availability (5 days a week).
